The
Old Hickory Council has postponed the Scouting for Food bag distribution this
Saturday due to the weather forecast. Now, the Pack will pass out
the bags on Feb. 13th & the Troop will collect them on Feb. 20th.
Also,
there will not be a practice Saturday AM for the Scouts helping in the Scout
Sunday Service. If you are helping with the service, please come a few
minutes early for a primer.
The
Church announced today that if it is real icy, both services may be
canceled this Sunday. If that is the case, I will send out another
email. You can also find that info on the cancellation
announcements with WXII TV.

- Cold Weather Camping & "Backpacking" Trip at The Pickett Farm outside of Lewisville (Web.II's' invited too for Saturday) - We'll try a little differnt plan on this trip - rather than camping right next to the house, we are to do some mildy adventurious "Backpackng" and camp in a different spot on the property. This trip is an attempt to introduce backpacking to many of the Scouts who have never done so in a safe and easy environment....plus, many boys want to do "cold weather camping", and I think this weekend will provide that chance! More info to come - stay tuned.
