Troop 722 Scouts Complete a 50-Mile Section Hike of the AT
Part of the hike they went on is referred to as Virginia’s Triple Crown and includes three of the most iconic vistas on the Appalachian Trail – McAfee Knob, Dragon’s Tooth and Tinker Cliffs. The boys all earned their BSA 50-Miler award during this trip, which requires at least 50 consecutive miles of hiking and 10 hours of trail conservation work.
